- East Texas Connect Go Local (ETC) originally set up by University of Texas at Tyler, maintained by MSL.

- MSL will assist members of the general public in locating health information for specific conditions.
- MSL cannot and will not diagnose conditions or give medical advise.
- Reference assistance is confined to items in the MSL collection and freely available on the Internet.
- Provision of information to persons who cannot come to the Medical Sciences Library is limited by copyright and licensing restrictions.
